WORKSHOP IN GENERAL LINGUISTICS (WIGL)The LSO has sponsored the Workshop in General Linguistics annually since 2003. The workshop is held in late winter/early spring at UW-Madison, and is open to presentations in any field of linguistics. The proceedings are published in the LSO Working Papers in Linguistics. WIGL 6 will be held from 9:30-5:00 Friday April 4, and 9:30-12:30 Saturday April 5. The registration fee is $10 for conference participants. Light refreshments will be provided. (The registration fee is waived for UW students only wishing to listen to talks.) Note that the outer doors of Van Hise are locked on Saturday. There will be someone posted by the main first floor entrance (on Linden Drive) to open the door during the registration period of 9:30-10:00 -- please plan to arrive during this time.
