Praat Scripts

Look at these scripts for the language. Modify the scripts to fit your needs. Both use the idea of sounds in a subdirectory which you will need to rename.

• Normalizing files This script opens a sound in a subdirectory, and normalizes it.
• Editing files with Text Grids This script opens a sound in a subdirectory, and opens a text grid if there is one (if there isn't you create one), and then calculates some values. We used this for devoicing project in WI English.
• Changing Pitch and Duration This script opens a sound, changes the pitch and the lengthens the tokens in four steps.
